We're back! The Alnwick Garden is pleased to announce that it will re-open on Wednesday 1st July 2020.

What's new?
Our walkways and facilities have been redesigned to ensure everyone can adhere to social distancing measures, and we’ve implemented a one-way system that links The Garden with both our main car park and Alnwick town centre.

To give people more space, as well as the opportunity to relax and bring a picnic, we’ve significantly reduced our daily visitor capacity. You now book a time slot in advance to avoid queues, and we’ve placed hand sanitiser stations throughout The Garden to use as you please.

Why not visit our world-famous Poison Garden and learn about the hundreds of toxic, intoxicating, and narcotic plants we grow?

Why not visit our world-famous Poison Garden and learn about the hundreds of toxic, intoxicating, and narcotic plants we grow? Or maybe take a leisurely stroll through our Rose Garden? We have over 300 species out in full bloom throughout July!

You can bring your family for a picnic and relax on our lawn, taking in the view of our spectacular Grand Cascade.

Stay as long as you like, we’ll be open every day from 10am till 4pm.
