Disappointing vegetarian option for Sunday lunch

MelM13, Northumberland
We booked Sunday lunch on Father's Day. My husband had roast beef and I had the vegetarian option. The food was nicely cooked and there was a good choice of vegetables BUT the veggie option was 3 sausages!! Most eateries can at least produce a nut roast on a Sunday!! Unless the vegetarian menu improves I will not be back for Sunday Lunch.

Visiting fron the USA

955martint, Winston Salem, North Carolina
We are from the North East of England but live in the USA, my parent eat here frequently and took us here for our wedding anniversary. The food was very good and very reasonable. The restaurant was bright and airy and the staff are very good. We will definitely return on our next visit to the UK.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Boatside Inn We would highly recommend it . The room was exceptionally clean with everything that you could possibly need. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is first class . We had 2 meals in the Restaurant both were fantastic. Would definitely return Thank you all at the Boatside for a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay

JAC157_12, East Grinstead, United Kingdom
Stayed for a couple of nights on short break to Hadrians Wall sites. Accommodation is in a separate annex and large rooms decorated to high standard with nice touches. Breakfast was excellent and all staff very helpful and friendly. Our dog was with us and there was plenty of room for her in the room. A few walks nearby so we could take her out in morning and evenings. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked nice.

en route to the races

stoneybeck1, Penrith, United Kingdom
Called for lunch on the way to Hexham races, looks like a new menu but still a good choice, I had liver and onions and my friend had an excellent fish pie, followed by a lemon meringue pie to share. Never dissappointent with this lovely pub
