Celebrating the end of harvest-time and the wonderful flour products milled at Heatherslaw - all made from locally grown wheat - this festival will give visitors the opportunity to explore the mill, learn about food production and farming through the ages. There will be competitions to enter some hands-on activities. Entry to the mill is free today.
Adults can join a special three-hour breadmaking session in the morning from 10am-1pm. Tickets cost £25 and places are limited so please book in advance: 01890 820338. Children can try their hand at breadmaking in a free session at 2.30pm, again places are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment: 01890 820338.
