Oozing charm, St Bede is a gem of a 'hemmel' barn conversion offering that 'getting away from it all' holiday accommodation Northumberland does so well.
Set within an acre of shared private grounds, St Bede is a cleverly converted cottage providing compact modern living in a contemporary stylish, light and airy setting.
Our studio styled, beamed dining and living area enjoys the full height of the space and has a large, comfortable sofa from which to watch the wall mounted TV.
The bathroom with bath, overhead shower and wc is on the ground floor.
Also downstairs is the compact, fully equipped kitchen which nestles beneath the mezzanine. It is a perfect space for cooking a deux.
The cottage has a quirky spiral staircase leading up to a romantic mezzanine bedroom set under the eaves. The double wardrobe is located on the ground floor.
The double glazed, arched barn doorway and windows let light flood in from the spacious, stone paved patio courtyard.
Outside, the patio contains dining furniture, a BBQ and a small herb garden. It leads out onto the dedicated private parking area and an acre of well-tended grounds which are shared with the two adjoining properties. These are also in our holiday home Collection and are available to rent.
St Bede is only 2.5 miles from Craster and 4 miles from historic Alnwick. Our local pub The Horse Shoes is a walk away across open fields.
For the comfort of guests, we do not allow dogs.
