Mill House is a beautiful Grade 2 listed 16th century cottage, nestled by the river Coquet, providing a tranquil and stunning place to escape.
A superior accommodation, with beautifully appointed rooms. Ground floor King Ensuite, with large rainfall walk in shower and bath. Upstairs a Super King with adjacent bathroom, shower over bath, can be made into a twin.
A semi detached cottage for one group sleeping 2-4 guests. Outdoor sitting areas with firepit for alfresco breakfasts and dinner in good weather and log burner in the snug for cosy indoor suppers.
There is a fridge/freezer and chiller in the snug, and a wee kitchen area (suitable for reheating not preparing meals) with two burner hob and small microwave and sink (think camper van size).
Close to the main North-South East Coast train line, local station being Alnmouth, the stunning beaches and castles of the Northumberland coast are a 15 minute drive. The market towns of Alnwick, Morpeth and Rothbury are within 20 minutes. Golf courses to be played at Alnmouth, Warkworth, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh. Wonderful cycling and walking routes; taking you to the coast and it’s castles, north to Holy Island or inland and the Cheviot Hills.
Given the uncertainty around travel restrictions it may be reassuring to know we do not require a deposit at this current time. Payment to be made in full 7 days prior to your stay. If your break is affected by Covid related restrictions we will accept cancellation/reschedule or full refund of your booking.
