SATURDAY 3RD JUNE 10 am - Return Coastal Walk to Newbiggin by the Sea - approx. 14 miles You’ll be spoiled with mile upon mile of Northumberland Coastline to explore during our gorgeous 14-mile coastal walk. Leaving the base at Druridge Bay, you’ll head south along the coastline to the historic village of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Hopefully we’ll be joined by some pods of playful dolphins, who love to put on a display. Fingers crossed we get lucky! Along the journey, there’ll be plenty of time to chat about the history of our coastline, villages and our local wildlife and marine life that we have here.
1:30pm - Kayak Journey to Warkworth Castle from Amble Harbour Enjoying the river from your kayak, offers you a new perspective of this gorgeous waterway in Northumberland, the river Coquet. You’ll start your journey, entering the mouth of the river from Amble Harbour. Starting from a trail leading from Lordenshaws car-park, we’ll take a route that provides a great warm-up, as we head straight into a nice climb towards Dove Crag. It won’t be too long till we’re rewarded with some glorious views, stretching for miles across Northumberland’s rolling countryside.
