Journeymen is a touring exhibition, taking place across the North East from September 2019 – February 2020. The tour begins at Hirst Park Pavilion, Ashington, on Friday 20 September and the exhibition is visiting; Blyth in October, Newbiggin in November and Newcastle in January and February 2020. Commissioned by Museum Northumberland bait, the exhibition is a collection of work from five groups of men, and young boys, who have come together, to share their own unique journeys in South East Northumberland.
The exhibition is a collection of the stories of real men, living real lives - explored through sounds, words and pictures. As part of the Journeymen exhibition, we are running a range of free family workshops in Ashington and Blyth. There’s no need to book, just come along to any of the sessions and join in.
