Feb half term chill out

meyerman, Lincolnshire, uk
We stayed in the Dovecote cottage, having our booking moved from the Engine shed due to a mix up with bookings, management offered a £50:00 refund, on booking price which I was happy with. The accommodation was well presented, very tidy, good quality bedding and furnishings, ensuite bath/ shower rooms to both bedrooms. Rooms well proportioned and the twin room easily accommodated a travel cot as well. The property is heated by underfloor electric heating, we resorted to switching it off at the consumer unit even on lowest setting we were cooking! Although the accommodation was well presented, it was disappointing there were loads of dog hairs about, on the rugs in the main room, particularly as we had a crawling infant with us. Though this was the only negative. The cottages are well located for access to Seahouses, bam borough and other areas along the Northumberland Coast. We will defiantly return again. Would recommend a visit to Craster for the obligatory kippers, and by far the best fish & chip restaurant in Seahouses is Lewis’s

Lovely site

We went in our motorhome for the weekend with two of our grandkids . It,s a nice enough site and the shower rooms and toilets are nice and clean and warm .You have,nt got far to go for water or the chemical toilet (which is being upgraded ).There is a little shop on site for essentials . People are really friendly . It was about a half an hour walk into the town along the bridle path . The kids loved it and we would use this site again.

Can’t get enough

lynneturner1, Bungay, United Kingdom
It’s true. We must have stayed in almost all the accommodation they have from the cottages to the barn conversions over the years since they opened and I can’t fault them. We had two extra nights here and it just made all the difference. We stayed this time in Copywell Cottage. The kitchen had the best views out to the Farne Islands. But I think most of the accommodations have this view. Coal fire too. Marvellous. We actually didn’t want to go home we were so relaxed and chilled there. I was so happy I made jam and cream scones and took them on a plate round to reception and I think all of the staff and owners had one. Can’t wait to go back. I wish I lived there. I’ve got no photos. I’ve been too busy enjoying myself and chilling right down that I haven’t had time!!!

Caravanning ❤️

Roundhaylady,
Fabulous site! We stayed here early January so admittedly, it was uber quiet and all the facilities were quiet. Showers were spotless and clean, toilets the same. Received a lovely welcome and a great tour when we arrived. We had pitch 27 which had the best views (when it wasn’t raining and misty). Can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

Christmas Holiday

lollypop1956, Northwich, United Kingdom
We’ve just returned from our stay at Springfield Farm. We really enjoyed the site. The staff were very helpful. The pitch was large. Perfect for our large motor Home and the car we tow with it. The site was very clean. The Shower block and toilets were the warmest I’ve ever used. They also have a drying room for wet clothes. I’ve never had use of a drying room before. Several days of our holiday were very wet... the drying room was a god send. Very easy access and egress. We traveled around the area from the site. There was so much to do. I especially enjoyed our trip to Bamburgh beach. The views were amazing.
