Great place to stay

Mark C,
Excellent camp site, good staff, clean facilities and a pub within walking distance. Plenty of open spaces to camp, several pods, lots off BBQ points and benches and tables. The pub serves good food and serves good beer.

Mini Splash Dash

Joanne R,
2nd tine staying here and another warm welcome. Steve is so friendly and accomodating. Shower and toilet facilities have been updated and wow- shower was fantastic after chilly night(even with heating in our tent)! Facilities are great for a campsite - dish wash area can fit up to 3 campers and even fridge and freezer. If you do need to wash or dry clothes there are machines and tumble driers or washing line if get dry spell. Plenty of sockets if can't get electric hook up. Little shop on site does have very small selection of things to buy - even supporting local business selling wooden coasters and magnets. Some lovely dog walks near by and park for little children on site. Can't wait to book again.

Kielder village camping and caravan site

Just returned from a week there ,a very good site from which walk around the trails or for biking, there’s been a lot of work done to the site in the last few years along with free WiFi,the only real downside is no mobile phone signals in the area but that’s something I can happily live with after all your there to relax not get stressed out with calls from work.

Love this place!!!

We camped for a few nights with a hook up. The weather tried its best to ruin our fun, but as always Steve was wonderfully helpful and the facilities were spotless. Just the best place to get away from it all :)

Weekend Stay - August/September 2018

Camped here for two nights, Friday to Sunday and found the campsite to be an ideal location. Everyone keeps the place clean and free of litter and thankful pick up their dog poo. Dogs are permitted on the site and during our visit there were plenty of well behaved dogs. As others have pointed out the Site Warden, Steve gives a pleasant and well informed welcome, so well done to him. Toilets and showers kept clean and well maintained, hot water at all times. Very handy for the closest pub, The Anglers Arms, just a few minute walk and they do a good range of beers, reasonably priced food and free WiFi. You can pick up a free WiFi signal at the camps offices but I found this to be intermittent. Also free WiFi at the cafe in the Castle but didn't try that one. No mobile telephone signal in Kielder but the camp does at least have a public telephone You can hower get a mobile signal at Bellingahm but that is an 18 miles drive. I would recommend this camp site and would certainly return.
