3 night stay

Harry B, Warrington, United Kingdom
Situated in the countryside in a small village but quiet isolated, its rooms are mainly around a courtyard on the ground floor.Reception was good and staff friendly. We had room 3 which had disabled facilities. It was very clean and tidy with tv and fridge and a wide comfortable bed. You have to order the evening meal which is fixed both in price and main content. There are a few public houses around but you need to travel if you want to eat elsewhere. The food was excellent although I found the venison stew too rich for my taste. We had booked 3 nights with 3 evening meals but because of the inclement weather we decided to leave after the second night. I was happy to pay for the room for the night I did not use it but I thought that having to pay for the evening meal as well did not sit well with me.

Peace and Tranquility!

AndyHumps,
Another great stay. Only did 1 night, but as ever the food was excellent, bedroom comfortable with a lovely view. Staff friendly and attentive. Always thoroughly enjoy relaxing in the communal lounge. Great conversation with the two Salmon fishermen.

Comfortable stay in beautiful area

Penny P, Canterbury, United Kingdom
Friendly, efficient staff, and clean, attractive, spacious accommodation. Lots of steaming hot water with bath and shower. Ultra cosy lounge with several luxurious sofas and honesty bar where we had delicious complimentary afternoon tea on arrival. Scrummy breakfasts with plenty of choice. Despite being close to the road we couldn't hear any traffic. Black lambs, chickens and friendly dog called Penny. Our own 2 dogs were welcomed. Ideal location to enjoy coast and country in Northerberland.

A real home from home

EMF_AJA, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
We have just spent a lovely couple of days at the Coach House. Jackie and the team were very friendly, welcoming and attentive and the two home cooked evening meals we had were excellent. The afternoon tea in the lounge is a nice add on. Room 9 was spacious and clean and had everything we needed so well done and thanks to you all!

Home from home

Roving554051,
The staff could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were excellant, perfect poached eggs and home made jams and marmalades Well located for exploring the Northumberland coast, the Boarders and even Kilder forest. What made the holiday for us was the gambolling lambs outside the window.
