Excellent stay again

Alan P,
This was our second stay at The Coach House as a group of golfers playing in the area. We had a combination of single and twin rooms mainly around the very nice courtyard area. The rooms are clean and well appointed but also have some character as they are converted outbuildings. Jackie and the team are very welcoming and the breakfasts are superb. The setting is very rural however there is a super pub called The Blue Bell within 5 minutes walk which does very decent food. Location is very good for the borders and the Northumberland coast. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Wonderful visit!

Bones_and_Stones, Aberdeen, United Kingdom
This place is such a gem! Nestled in wonderful countryside, surrounded by their animals and green fields, this place was a great bed for the night! The hosts were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make us feel comfortable on our stay. We were especially pleased with how welcome they made our toddler, giving her bread so she could feed the chickens, making some adjustments to allow us to give her breakfast early, and helping us sort out our baby monitor so we could enjoy a peaceful dinner together too. Would certainly stay again if in the area and would recommend to couples or families alike. It had a very peaceful atmosphere, with the rooms well spread apart, so I am pretty sure we didn’t bother anybody even though we were with a young child. Yvonnes food was also really good, especially her lemon drizzle cake! Dinner was also excellent.

3 night stay

Harry B, Warrington, United Kingdom
Situated in the countryside in a small village but quiet isolated, its rooms are mainly around a courtyard on the ground floor.Reception was good and staff friendly. We had room 3 which had disabled facilities. It was very clean and tidy with tv and fridge and a wide comfortable bed. You have to order the evening meal which is fixed both in price and main content. There are a few public houses around but you need to travel if you want to eat elsewhere. The food was excellent although I found the venison stew too rich for my taste. We had booked 3 nights with 3 evening meals but because of the inclement weather we decided to leave after the second night. I was happy to pay for the room for the night I did not use it but I thought that having to pay for the evening meal as well did not sit well with me.

Peace and Tranquility!

AndyHumps,
Another great stay. Only did 1 night, but as ever the food was excellent, bedroom comfortable with a lovely view. Staff friendly and attentive. Always thoroughly enjoy relaxing in the communal lounge. Great conversation with the two Salmon fishermen.
