Very good place to rest

kcami17, Milan, Italy
I had the chance to visit this place during my walk along Hadrian’s Wall Path and I had a very pleasant stay. Food was very good, and I had a very comfortable nights sleep because I stayed at one of their 3 rooms upstairs. I recommend it for a quick stop along the way or for a more prolonged stay. Noises from the road near can rarely be heard!

Super friendly and super service!

Emzi_Tee, York, United Kingdom
We originally came for a meal with friends of a Friday night. All dishes were given the thumbs up and me and my other half asked as to whether they served breakfast. We were staying nearby in Wylam and had discovered upon check in that our B&B only provided the first B! Upon hearing our plight the lovely waitress enquired with the kitchen as to whether it was OK to serve us a breakfast at the latter time of 10am and the lady in charge very kindly obliged so we ordered two full English. Upon our return next morning we were greeted with the same warm and friendly service from the night before to a table all ready just for us. We were attending a wedding that day so we needed a hearty breakfast and we were not disappointed! I really cannot fault this place or serves excellent food and all staff members are professional, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending to friends and hope to return soon!

Absolute gem of a place - incredibly welcoming

Erin F,
We were lucky enough to have Robin Hood Inn recommend to us by a friend who lives near the Inn, we were visiting from Scotland. We first visited on a busy, sunny day but were served quickly and efficiently by some very friendly staff. We sat in the beer garden where the kids were able to run around and play freely due to the large open grassy space. The following 2 days we ate breakfast there. Although it was after 'breakfast time' the first day (we didn't realise until later on), no mention was made of their timings and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was superb every time we ate there, but the thing that stuck with us the most was the friendly, warm attitude of every single staff member that we dealt with. Truly a visit worth making if you are anywhere near the area.

Decent Sunday lunch is pleasant surroundings

Paul R, Northumberland, United Kingdom
6 of us went for the Sunday lunch at short notice. Pleasant friendly staff and a good choice on the menu for traditional Sunday lunch, or several alternatives for those that preferred something else. Good choice of desserts too. Not cordon bleu standard but decent pub grub at a fair price. Very good selection of beers and ales too. Will go again.

Just lovely!

Yoga_piglet, Preston, United Kingdom
From the very first moment I walked in I loved this place. It has an oldy worldy pub feel to it and the landlord is very welcoming. Had a lovely pint of beer before going up to the room. We had a twin room (number 2) and it was spacious, clean, modern bathroom and full of character. Better than home! Had a lovely evening meal and breakfast was to order and was also lovely. A really great stay for one night (we were walking Hadrian’s wall) , lovely staff, great food and it was nice and clean. Highly recommended.
