Type: Bed & Breakfast

Susan and Jan Ketelaar welcome you to their unique home - a converted historic watermill on the banks of Devil's Water in Northumberland, and near to all Hadrian's Wall sites.

Dilston Mill is in a secluded but convenient position, 1 mile from Corbridge and 2 from Hexham. These charming and historic towns with Roman remains and ancient churches also offer excellent dining and other amenities, including a theatre, cinema, swimming pool and country park. We are also close to all modern sporting (golf, water sports, pony-trekking, cycling, walking) and leisure amenities and the vibrant entertainment, nightlife and shopping of Newcastle, Gateshead and the MetroCentre. In addition, the world heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Beamish outdoor museum, Kielder lake, coastal beaches, hills, moorland and the Scottish Borders are all within easy reach.

Our visitors are special: we host only 2 parties at a time (2 to 6 persons) in your own private bed and breakfast suites.

Private B & B Suite: (sleeps 2-6)
Large sitting room (wood stove) and shower room. Comfortable double, twin and bunk bed bedrooms. Substantial, tasty breakfasts.

Studio Suite: (sleeps 2)
Spacious room and en-suite bathroom: bath & shower.
Kingsize bed.
Self-serve breakfasts for flexible B & B.
Ground floor location for restricted mobility guests.

In a beautiful riverside position, Dilston Mill can be your relaxing base with fresh fruit, teas, coffee and biscuits always available. Our substantial breakfasts are appreciated by our visitors and will set you up for active days of sightseeing, shopping, business and fun. If you wish, we can provide information, suggestions and make arrangements to help make your visit special.
