A1 sign posted for Berwick. At beginning of Berwick bypass mini-roundabout sign posted Berwick/Tweedmouth. Follow road (original A1) for 1.5 miles to next mini-roundabout. At leisure centre turn right down Billendean Road into Spittal Main Street. House is 0.25 miles on Main Street, past the primary school and opposite church of St John.
From Berwick-upon-Tweed - 2miles
Leave the station and turn right onto main street Castlegate, walk south towards the town centre. Pass under arch (part of town wall) and past the Tourist Information Centre (on left). At the mini roundabout at Golden Square turn right towards road bridge over the River Tweed. Bus stop to Spittal on left before the bridge. Bus no. B1
