The cottage is situated on the edge of Heddon-on-the-Wall, a quiet village ideally situated some 7 miles from the heart of the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The 18thC century stone-built cottage has spacious comfortable rooms, which are all furnished to a high standard, whilst retaining a feeling of homeliness.
It has a superb panoramic view of Hadrian’s Wall, a designated World Heritage Site, and open fields from the patio windows in the sitting room.
On the ground floor, there is an entrance hall, a large spacious sitting room/dining room, a well equipped kitchen and the bathroom with WC, which also has a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The lounge also has a very comfortable double sofa bed. Upstairs there is the a WC, and 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and single bed, and the other with twin beds. The main bedroom has en suite facilities comprising of a shower and wash hand basin with separate toilet.
Heddon-on-the-Wall is ideally situated as a holiday base in Northumberland, it is within easy reach of the many visitors centres, forts and milecastles of Hadrian’s Wall. Lively Newcastle is only a short distance away.

The house is at the top of Hadrian's Wall.
