Wallington Food & Craft Festival

A celebration of food and craft produce from Northumbria and Cumbria. Organised by the National Trust in association with Northumbria Larder and Made in Cumbria, the aim of the festival is to celebrate and promote regional producers. With an emphasis on local, quality and in the case of food produce, seasonal and fresh, this has proved an outstandingly successful and popular event in its first two years. This October's festival looks set to continue with around 50 local suppliers expected, cookery demonstrations taking place throughout the day and activities for children. What's more, entry to the event is free!
