The Bike Place 2009 Marathon Series - The Border Raid. The second of four mountain bike races this season run by 'The Bike Place at Kielder'. The course leads you along a route taking competitors into Scotland on a cross border 'raid'.

Nearest major road is A69. Follow the signs north to Bellingham then pick up the brown tourism signs west to Kielder Water and Forest Park. Travel past Kielder Water to Kielder Village where the castle is situated.
