SAINT AIDAN - CHRISTIAN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY
A week-long programme of activities, talks and church events. Discover the stories of the saints of Anglo-Saxon Northumbria and experience peace, spirituality and a sense of place in the landscapes and Christian sites of the north Northumberland coast.
This is an annual festival presented by the churches and religious organisations of Holy Island and Bamburgh to celebrate St. Aidan's Day (31st August). This year St. Aidan's Festival is being staged in association with the Golden Age of Northumbria, a year-long festival, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
