Held on the weekend after Easter in medieval market town Morpeth. 2009's 42nd Gathering theme is 18th Century.

The town is reached from the A1 14 miles north of Newcastle, by turning off at Clifton onto the A197. From the north, leave the A1 at Fairmoor on the A192.
Regular buses from Newcastle and other centres. Morpeth Railway station is on the East coast mainline. Newcastle Airport is on metro and bus/train ride away.
