Grade 11 listed semi detached stone cottage located in the small friendly hamlet of Melkridge approx two miles outside of Haltwhistle with easy access from the A69. The area is surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife including deer, kingfishers, otters and red kite. The historic market town of Hexham is approx 15 miles away with its majestic abbey and boasts many amenities including a theatre/cinema, leisure centre and an array of quaint tea rooms and shops. We are near to Vindolanda and Housesteads Roman fort. Carlisle is 23 miles away making this an ideal base to explore Hadrian's wall and also the Lake District. The cottage is set in a private location behind the owners residence with independent access off road parking and private patio area.

Take the A69 towards Melkridge, turn off A69 at static speed camera, turn left at junction. The Old Brewery is 100yards approximately on left, cottage is behind the main house
Hexham railway station is approx 15 miles, Haltwhistle 2 miles. The 685 bus goes past the Old Brewery stopping approx 100yds away from the property
