The Official Visitor Site for Northumberland
Imagine one of the most idyllic corners of England and picture in it a well landscaped, superbly equipped park - Meadowhead's Waren Caravan and Camping Park. Just 2 miles away from Bamburgh Castle which seems to grow right out of the beach.
Holy Island (Lindisfarne), Farne Islands, quaint hamlets, historic towns including Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed, and Northumberland National Park are all in easy reach. A short walk away is the sheltered nature reserve of Budle Bay and mile upon mile of sands and dunes.
The park, which nestles in 100 acres of wooded countryside has achieved a David Bellamy Award marking a commitment to the provision of desirable facilities for the holiday maker and conservation of the natural environment.
Waren is completely self contained for those who just want to have a relaxing break, with a host of facilities. The four acre Touring and Camping area has space for 180 pitches, many with electric hook ups.
Excellent sea views.
