Christine and Tony Barton are proud of their comfortable 170-year-old stone-built house, set in a commanding position by Halidon Hill, overlooking Berwick upon Tweed. Each room has fine views across the River Tweed towards the Cheviot Hills.

Being 150 yds from the A1, Meadow Hill is an ideal staging post for travellers and holiday visitors alike.
The non-smoking bedrooms are individually furnished to a high standard, creating a comfortable, homely feel. A feature of Meadow Hill is the 2 ground floor suites, knowledgeably fitted with every convenience for the disabled visitor.

You will be offered a wide choice for breakfast from a traditional hearty cooked breakfast, to, cereals and fruit.

After a busy day, relax in front of the open fire. All rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities, biscuits, colour TV and heated towel rails.

Christine is often complimented for her use of simple ingredients, beautifully cooked and presented in generous enough portions for any appetite!
