This is a small, friendly, family run site with wonderful views, wildlife and great walking country in every direction. Quiet and peaceful but only 3 miles from the market town of Haltwhistle and 1 mile from two pubs where bar meals are available. Every assistance will be given to those walking Hadrian's Wall Trail, including a pick-up/drop-off service so you can really enjoy the walk without the drudge of carrying a full pack. Facilities include hot water, showers and washer drier.
The site is ideally placed for those wanting to visit forts and museums and also a central location for touring the Lakes, North Pennines, Kielder and Northumberland Coast - all less than an hours drive.
New centrally heated bunk barn which sleeps eight/ten. Bookable per bunk, per night. There are two bedrooms, each sleeping four and a common room with comfortable seating, kitchen facilities, bed settee and TV. Bed linen may be hired separately. Fees £10 per bunk per night.
The adjoining shower and toilet block is also heated and includes a laundry and sauna.
