The Official Visitor Site for Northumberland
A traditional 750-acre working family farm on Hadrian's Wall. Elegant farmhouse with large comfortable rooms and breathtaking views.
Fantastic walking country (one of the Sunday Times best walks in England). Bird watching from bird hide on Greenlee Lough Nature Reserve which was visited by Bill Oddie. Private trout fishing on small pretty lake with disabled access, opened by Jack Charlton OBE. It is 5 minutes to the main Roman sites of Housesteads, Vindolanda and the Roman Army Museum. We are centrally placed to visit Durham, the lakes, the wonderful North East coast and Holy Island. Alnwick Gardens and the Scottish Borders.
Ideally situated for your stay while walking along Hadrian's Wall as Noel Edmonds did in 2004. Featured on Songs of Praise May 2008
