Tate House is an attractive 3-storey late Victorian town house built in 1885 and situated within the centre of Alnwick. The property has recently undergone an extensive upgrading and refurbishment programme to bring this town house back to life. All rooms are large and spacious and are full of character.
The Castle and the beautiful Alnwick Garden and Treehouse are only a 3 minute walk from the front door.
A wide range of shops including craft centres, museum and galleries as well as a good local theatre "Alnwick Playhouse", are just across the road for live entertainment, film showings and exhibitions. Barter Books is just next door at the former Alnwick Railway Station, the largest second hand bookshop in the country.
