Mansard Cottage is an owner maintained detached 3 bedroomed character cottage with small garden in the coastal village of Embleton. Well equipped, fully modernised and very clean and comfortable.
The castles of Northumberland are all within easy reach. Dunstanburgh Castle stands sentinel to the south of Embleton's wide sweeping sandy beach - designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hides and a bird sanctuary are behind the dunes to the north of the golf course. Other activities nearby include fishing, riding, windsurfing, diving, sailing and boat trips to the Farne Islands to see bird and seal colonies. The market town of Alnwick, seat of the Dukes of Northumberland and site of the Duchess' famous garden and tree house is 7 miles away. We hope you enjoy your holiday among the friendly Northumbrians and their tranquil and beautiful county.
