The history of Lightpipe is very interesting, as it started life as a Church, founded in 1700, it served as a church until 1817, when it was turned over to livestock. To date Lightpipe has been fully converted to provide fantastic, modern and luxurious accommodation. It has two double bedrooms, newly fitted kitchen and bathroom, A feature fireplace in the sitting room with wood-burning stove, all tastefully decorated throughout. Simply look through the full length double glazing to enjoy the scenery and wildlife or be more adventurous and explore the land yourself! From the A1 Northbound turn off A69 singposted Hexham. Pass Hexham then take an immediate Right turn onto the A697 to Accomb. From the crossroads at Low Brunton, turn left onto the B6320 signed to Bellingham. At Bellingham follow signs for Kielder Village, passing through lane head (about 14.5 miles) Follow through Kielder Village after a left handside bend you will see Lightpipe Barn set back from the road, along a track, on the right handside.
