A traditional stone-built Northumbrian farmhouse, benefiting from full central heating throughout. The Lee offers bed and breakfast accommodation of the very highest of standards.
The award-winning accommodation, set in beautiful countryside, features an exclusive guests lounge with comfortable chairs and colour TV. In the winter there is a cosy log fire to snuggle up to while you unwind from the day's activities.
The Lee is a working livestock farm covering 1100 acres which the Aynsley family have farmed for over 125 years. Guests are more than welcome to take a look around the farm or to enjoy one of the many delightful walks around the area.
The 3 guest bedrooms are all decorated and appointed to the highest of standards, each with extensive views over the surrounding countryside. All have colour TVs, hairdryers, electric blankets and full hospitality trays, complete with hand-made biscuits.
Guests begin their day with a hearty farmhouse breakfast using, where at all possible, local produce. Of course a lighter alternative is also available.
The Lee is located near the pretty village of Rothbury, sitting virtually at the heart of Northumberland, which makes us the ideal holiday base from which to explore this magnificent and varied county.

Public Transport Directions
From Morpeth - 12 miles
Take A697 to Weldon Bridge, B6344 to Pauperhaugh. Left turn over bridge. Follow bed and breakfast sign, 2 miles.
