Alnwick Tourist Information Centre

Seahouses, Berwick and Alnwick tourist information centres will be closed from Saturday 20 February to allow the improvement works to take place, with re-opening due by Easter. A limited visitor information service will operate from the libraries in Alnwick and Berwick during this period, or enquiries can be made by telephone to 01289 330733 for Berwick or 01665 511333 for Alnwick. Alnwick Tourist Information Centre is well worth a visit to ensure you make the most of your stay in Northumberland. Situated in the heart of Alnwick in the Market Place, the TIC is an accessible building well stocked with information leaflets and brochures regarding attractions throughout the Alnwick district. As well as its role as a visitor gateway to Northumberland, the TIC also stocks local literature as well as OS maps, road maps, locally produced food, postcards, gifts and souvenirs. Alnwick Tourist Information Centre is open all year and on bank holidays. The Tourist Information Centre is located inside a grade II listed building underneath the Northumberland Hall. The majority of Alnwick tourist attractions can be accessed by foot within a 5 minute walk from the TIC. Staff are very happy to advise on events and attractions and generally answer questions about the area.
