Northumberland Bike Breaks

Add Northumberland Bike Breaks to your Itinerary

Come to us for a weekend of epic biking? Everything has been taken care of from secure bike storage, workshop facilites, healthy breakfasts and lunches and best of all superb local trail knowledge.

We can accommodate all standards of bikers, from the complete offroad novice to the serious singletrack addict.

What do you get?
Two nights accommodation with substantial breakfasts made from tasty local produce, two full days guided riding in the wilds of North Northumberland, freshly made packed lunches to keep you going all day.

What should I bring?
Bring your bike, a helmet and bike clothing for two full days riding. Obviously conditions vary depending upon the time of year but a light waterproof jacket is always recommended even if its just for the lunch stop at the top of a big hill. We realise its much nicer to use your own equipment, but if that is not possible we can arrange hire of bikes, helmets and gloves.

What about non cycling partners, what else is there to do?
There's loads to do and explore in north Northumberland, we are an ideal base to walking along Hadrians Wall, the Northumbrian coast and castles or the Cheviots. Newcastle/Gateshead is only 45 minutes away for shops, galeries and music venues. For the more active but non bikey why not try sea kajaking, canoeing or climbing with our friends at Active4Seasons.

Can I extend my stay?
You're welcome to extend your stay on a B&B basis or with more guided day trips. We make the perfect stop-off on the way to or from the (wo)man-made delights of Glentress and Innerliethen, so why not combine our natural trails with the best of the 7Stanes.
New for 2008 we have a single price of £140 per person for all our weekends! So just grab your riding buddies and head this way for a really relaxing and stress free riding experience.
