Road Directions
Turn off the A69 for Haltwhistle, take the first right and the first right again up the Shield Hill towards Hadrian's Wall. Farmshop and coffee shop on your left.
From the Military Road (B6318) turn down towards Haltwhistle by the Milecastle Inn pub and it is 1 mile along Shield Hill on the left hand side.
Public Transport Directions
By rail: From Haltwhistle Railway station catch the Hadrian's Wall Bus and get off at the top of Shield Hill.
