Road Directions
Leave the A1 at Beal following the road signs. The island is reached by a causeway which is closed twice a day by the sea. N.B. Check the Tide Timetable before crossing.
Public Transport Directions
A shuttle bus operates from the main car park, around the village and up to the castle. Scheduled bus service from mainland on certain days throughout the year. Check with Traveline or Heritage Centre for details.
