Fairshaw Rigg is very conveniently positioned to explore the Northumberland National Park, North Pennines and Hadrian's Wall.
The property is a single storey dwelling offering spacious ground floor accommodation which would be very suitable for guests with limited mobility. Our small herd of black Alpacas graze the field adjacent to our guest room and free range hens roam happily around the property providing us with plenty of delicious eggs.

Road Directions
From A69 Hexham exit
Follow main road into Hexham town centre, over River Tyne and railway line then left at roundabout (near Safeway). At next roundabout turn right, signposted Allendale go through Hexham Town Centre. At next traffic lights (not pedestrian lights), left to Allendale and Alston. Up hill out of town about 1.5 miles to Lowgate, there take right turn to Haydon Bridge. 500 yards on right-hand side is Fairshaw Rigg just after national speed limit sign.

The most suitable method of transport from the station is a taxi directly to Fairshaw Rigg in Lowgate which would cost around £4.00. The property is on the Haydon Bridge road out of Lowgate.
