Organised by Berwick’s Slow Food Convivium, the festival is a unique chance for visitors to find out more about the thriving local food scene in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
Not only a showcase for local food producers – a wide ranging programme of activities also underlines the culture and heritage of food in the region. With events taking place at various locations around the town – it’s designed to be an interactive experience for all concerned!

There's a menu of events to whet everyone's appetite. Local producers showcasing their speciality wares, a cookery theatre with top chefs in action, a celebration of the symbolic landing of the Last Salmon of the Season from the River Tweed, wine tasting to sip and savour, foodie-themed historical re-enactments and a food trail are just a mouthful of Festival treats in store.
For serious connoisseurs or those who simply appreciate good food and drink, the Berwick Food Festival has something to suit everyone's tastes.
