Northumberland is home to a vast range of Antiques and Crafts shops. Visit our antiques shops which specialise in books, furniture, art and history or go to one of our craft shops to take part in workshops or purchase a unique Northumbrian gift.

We also play host to the world famous Barter Books in Alnwick noted in the 2012 list of "20 Most Beautiful Bookstores in the World". Located in an old Victorian railways station this second hand bookstore has bags of character and is well worth exploration!
