Overview
A deceptively spacious old fisherman's cottage tucked away just off Craster's main harbour road, a stone's throw from the sea. The coastal path leads along the shoreline towards Dunstanburgh Castle and onto the sandy beaches at Embleton.
Rowan Cottage provides a home from home atmosphere, filled with antique furniture, fascinating pictures and carefully arranged curios. Craster is steeped in local tradition.
The village is centred around the picturesque harbour, particularly recommended is a trip to sample the food at the traditional local pub - The Jolly Fisherman. Visitors to Craster can also enjoy the treats of Robson's Craster Kippers, we believe they are the best in the country!
