Children love the large grass play area, Mabel and Petunia the Kune Kune Pigs and Bumble the donkey. Fenton Hill is ideal for families that want to come away together. Hoeysuckle and Elderberry are perfect for bringing Grandparents or for family celebtrations when booking more than one cottage.
Our cottages are well equipped to a high standard and are warm and welcoming with central heating and open fires lit for your arrival in autumn and winter. All cottages except Bramble are dog friendly.
Nearby are Routin Linn waterfall and Goats Crag with its panoramic views, this leads to Ford Moss for the more serious walker.
Fenton Hill is about a 30 minute drive from Bamburgh Castle and unspoilt beaches , the National Park with the Cheviot Hills and scenic valleys, the Scottish Borders, Lindisfarne, the Alnwick Garden, the boat to the Farne Islands from Seahouses, St Cuthbert's Way and other castles. We have a riding centre, golf course and fishing within a 3 mile radius of Fenton Hill.
In little over an hour you can reach Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Forest, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
