Check-in for night(s)

Felmoor Park opened in July 2010. The park is located in the heart of Northumberland and close to all of the areas attractions. The park has been designed and constructed to the highest standard while retaining the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Set in 40 acres of woodland we have Scandinavian log cabins and static caravans available to purchase or rent. The majority of our log cabins have panoramic views over the lake for those peaceful nights. Imagine enjoying a glass of chilled wine while your relaxing on the veranda on a warm summers evening.

When it comes to Northumberland self catering accommodation you would be hard pressed to find a more tranquil setting so be prepared to relax and forget your daily workload because by choosing Felmoor Park you will get a real feel for the natural beauty of the area. If you think other Northumberland accommodation is good be prepared to experience something a little special.

As an additional benefit to our guests, we have arranged discounted rates at Burgham Park and Morpeth golf courses. There are also over 20 other golf courses within a 30 minute drive as well as walking, cycling and horse riding so you will be spoilt for choice.

We also have homes that are pet friendly so why not treat yourself to a luxury break.

Log cabin

We stayed at Felmoor and used it as a base to tour the sights, Very convenient as it is just off the A1 at Felton. Our cabin was next to the lake so we could watch the wildlife whilst sitting on the balcony of an evening with a glass of wine. Sleeps four without being cramped. The hot tub eased the aches after all the walking and sightseeing. Cabin was comfy and clean with enough crockery and cutlery. The £5 daily charge we thought for WiFi is a bit excessive. We were in Chestnut Lodge which is privately owned and rented through Northumberland Rentals. Our only complaint was a very noisy 'Hen Party' one night during our stay and they were told to be quiet by security. Would return. was

Nice break before the honeymoon

Graeme S,
My newly wedded wife and I stayed in 'The hideaway' along with my best man and his fiancé. The owner Patrick could not have been any more helpful from start to finish. A genuinely nice bloke who couldn't do enough for us all. We instantly fell in love with it. The place was beautiful and was perfect for winding down after our wedding. We will most definitely be contacting Patrick again in the coming months to arrange another visit for both family and friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Graeme Smith

Lovely time

Lovely last minute weekend away me , my husband and our 8 month old puppy . Lovely lodge , chestnut number 4 overlooking the lake. Had everything we needed and a lovely hamper that we were not expecting and a pint of milk in the fridge ...thank you . Took full advantage of the hot tub, very clean and a couple came to sort it out the next day. Nice walk around the lake a few times and nice woodland walk. Think there needs to be a few more bins for dog waste .....lots around the lake but not many bins elsewhere. Tried to hoover on the day of our departure but the vacuum cleaner wasn't very good so apologies if the carpet wasn't crumb free!!! The club on site is sufficient , had an all day breakfast Saturday pm and take away Saturday night, no complaints. I do think however that people need to stick to the dogs on leads at all time rule . Whilst it is impossible for the park to enforce this....it really spoilt things when a very large Akita made its way up to our lodge ( with the owner with it) and started growling at my 8 month old puppy .......and then his German Sheppard also off lead came for a look....not really what you expect when you are having a chill out weekend. Like I say the dog owner not the parks fault . All in all a lovely weekend......but a shame about the other guests/owners who can't control their dogs . That said my 8 month old puppy made friends with both dogs in the neighbouring lodges . People just need to realise if they have temperamental dogs.......they shouldn't be off lead..... or if they are .....catch them and put them back on a lead before you get to any other dogs!!

Lodge Weekend

We spent a weekend here with family in June 2017 at "The Tyne" Lodge and were quite impressed with Felmoor Park. The lodge itself was great - spacious, comfortable but could have been a bit cleaner on arrival. It was clean enough - just could have done with a bit of a dust! Felmoor Park's location was great too - just off the A1 and approx 10 miles from Morpeth to the South and 15 miles to Alnwick in the north. Great for visiting Alnwick Garden, Castle or any of the two towns and the local attractions. The hot tub was also a bonus! Would stay again.

The park has no shop!!

Diane R,
The reception area is in the same room as the bar. These are very small. The seats are occupied all the time with what look like travellers and workmen. They made you feel very uncomfortable. There is no where to buy a newspaper, milk, bread on the site. Nearest shop is a drive away on the motorway. The kettle was full of limescale, The sink hadtwo nasty cracks in it with a large gap that i kept catching myself on. There were no toys, dvds or cds. The hot tub would not turn down in temperature. The shower only worked from one head. The saving grace was the zoo near by.
