Fantastic

raoulthorn, Accrington, United Kingdom
We have had a wonderful weeks stay at Beacon Hill Farm in the Stable Cottage. Alun and Christopher are incredibly helpful although we did not require a thing all week as the setup there is excellent. The facilities are in excellent condition both in the cottage and the leisure areas. We were given a very warm welcome and wouldn't hesitate coming back in the future. Have already been recommending to friends and family. Thanks again Beacon Hill for a fantastic week.

Beacon Hill replied: Thank you so much for your lovely review. Things do go wrong here but we try to sort them as soon as possible. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Shepherds Hut. Hideaway.

Lorraine R,
A fantastic stay in the Shepherds Hut. Lovely place to relax. There is a spa, gym and games room as well as a sauna and hot beds to keep you relaxed. In a beautiful spot. The cottages look inviting too. We were met by the lovely Alan and were able to see a Shepherds Hut in the process of being made. They are so warm and comfy and have wonderful views. We also met Christopher who has such a passion for what he is doing to Beacon Hill. We have booked to go back already.

Beacon Hill replied: Thanks for your lovely review. Christopher has made a lovely job of the huts. I can claim no credit for how they have turned out. We look forward to welcoming you back. Alun

Our favourite place

FON_11, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Just returned from our annual break at Beacon Hill. Arriving at Curlew Cottage it was warm and welcoming; just the usual high standards that we have become accustomed too. We were unpacked and relaxing straight away enjoying fabulous views from the cottage. We spent our time enjoying the facilities in the spa and our boys make full use of the Gym. We have been many times to beaconhill and have enjoyed walks in the woods, sausage sizzling, fishing at megs lake and just chilling out in the cottage. The location is ideal with far reaching views to the coast and countryside yet a short drive into lovely morpeth with its wide range of shops from independent shops- (we love the cheese shop which has a good selection of local cheeses) to Marks and Spencer's and Costa Coffee . This year the flowers around Sandersons arcade were outstanding. Thanks to Alun and Christopher for their hospitality and to Tony too !! We will be back again next year.

Beacon Hill replied: Curlew is closed in January for an upgrade so hopefully you will see a big difference next time you stay there. I am glad that you like Morpeth; as you say we have some lovely shops. I find the guests that engage in activities around the estate always seem to have a great time. We look forward to welcoming you back.

First Class

Claire W, Glasgow, United Kingdom
On holiday with family to Beacon Hill Farm on recommendation and stayed at the Quarry house. Accommodation was welcoming, homely and had everything to meet our needs; a lovely roaring fire was on the go when we arrived. The views from the cottage are spectacular with plenty of outside space to enjoy. Our grandson enjoyed meeting the horses and going for a picnic in the woods Our grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the indoor heated pool as did the adults!! The spa facilities and gym area were excellent. A good base to explore the Northumberland coast and to enjoy walks in the beautiful countryside. A great relaxing and fun week was had by all. Will definitely be returning.

Beacon Hill replied: Thank you for your super review. As you say we are a good base for exploring the area and if you don't feel like going out there is plenty to do around here. We look forward to seeing you again.

Superb Half Term Holiday!

Samantha T, Newcastle
Another fabulous week up at the cottages, been multiple times now and booked again for Easter hols already. Cottage spotless, fabulous facilities as always, the standard remains exceptionally high. Our highlights were cooking burgers in the woods, chatting to Alun, feeding the horses, goats, chickens & cuddling Peggy Sue & Percy the pups! Weather was glorious all week surprisingly for October, an added treat. Alun took us for a look around the new Shepherds Huts, which are simply stunning! The spec is incredible & warm as toast inside - Chris so impressed with the furniture! Will be recommending to friends in couples. Stunning location, spa & gym brilliantly equipped and perfect for families too with indoor playbarn, games room & outdoor play facilities. Perfect conditions this week for stargazing too. Can't wait to be back at Easter - our daughter Amalie loves this place as do we. Thanks again Alun & Chris & see you again soon, Sam Rob & Amalie x

Beacon Hill replied: I am glad one of your highlights is chatting to me because the reason I still enjoy this business after 33 years is because of our lovely guests...I enjoy chatting to them. This has been a stunning autumn and the great weather continues. I cant remember the last time it rained. We look forward to welcoming you back.
