Camp-fire, pizzas and friends under the stars... there are few better ways to spend a summer evening! Join Wild Intrigue guides Heather and Cain for an evening making stone-baked pizzas, foraging for some of your ingredients, and discovering creatures of the night as the sun sets, revealing the beautiful Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. We will use detectors to eavesdrop on bats as they emerge from their roosts, and you can discover why the ecology of these animals makes them just so intriguing. Once we've explored the local wilds on this Mini-Exped, we'll return to camp to toast marshmallows to top off our hot chocolates - because a night around a camp-fire just isn't complete without it! Anyone aged 18 or above is welcome to come along - come with friends or make some while your there! For lots more information visit the Mini-Expeds page at wildintrigue.co.uk.
