Longhirst Hall was built in the nineteenth century, a striking building designed in eye-catching sandstone by famous architect John Dobson. The Hall is set in quintessentially English landscaped gardens and wooded parkland. Longhirst provides a relaxing retreat all within easy access of the A1, Newcastle upon Tyne and the Northumberland countryside and coastline, making it a perfect base for exploring the local area.

Longhirst has 77 bedrooms with superb guest facilities including golf, tennis, football, cricket, croquet and a fitness room.

Decoro Spa includes five treatment rooms, spa pool, monsoon shower, aroma room, steam room among others. Decoro opened in July 2010.

Collingwood Bar opened in April 2010 and serves the finest British food and drink, in a relaxing and informal setting. The 200-seater bar serves food all day, every day at pub prices and the restaurant quality diners expect at Longhirst.
