A spooktacular event is planned at Sanderson Arcade on the afternoon of Saturday 31st October.
The Arcade team are welcoming visitors to join them if they dare. The event will run from 1pm until 6pm with a special afternoon of spooky treats for youngsters, including scary ghoul stilt walkers and some traditional Halloween treats on the spooky treat trail.
There will be competitions for the best pumpkin design from 1pm and the centre has increased the number of pumpkins this year in the craft area to make sure everyone can have a go at creating their own scary design. The judging will be at 4:30pm to find out who has created the creepiest pumpkin of all!
There’s also a fancy dress competition which starts at 5pm with a spooky parade for the judges to help decide the winners in the different age categories. Free face painting and some special spooky guests from Animal Escapades at 3pm have also been organised.
To end the evening of activities a fire show will be held in the Arcade where a thrilling display will take place from 5:30pm.
Centre Manager Medi Parry said ‘Our Halloween event grows bigger and better every year; we now have even more pumpkins for the design competition and more activities – this year including the treat trail.
“We’ve had some great fancy dress costumes in past years and are looking forward to seeing what scary designs our young visitors have come up with for this year’s Halloween event. We are also very excited about bringing the fire show back.”
