Originally an 18th century coaching inn, The Red Lion is a traditional Northumbrian pub offering real ales, excellent food and high quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the friendly and welcoming village of Alnmouth.
With a privileged position directly opposite the ancient church in the heart of Alnmouth, a village steeped in fascinating local history. The RedLion Inn offers unrivalled hospitality in a unique setting.
Our resident chef keeps a varied and seasonal menu throughout the year, offering fabulous food and superb value for money. Meals are served all day in the pub; we also have a spacious, tastefully renovated restaurant and a beer garden boasting amazing views of the Alnmouth estuary.
