Hidden treasure

TattyBoogle, Otterburn, United Kingdom
I have visited the Coach House in Otterburn almost weekly since moving to the area and so happy that there is such a fabulous place I can take all my friends and family when they come to visit me. The friendly staff and fabulous food is the best in the area and really is a hidden treasure in a beautiful rural area

Great Hotel

We stayed at the hotel whilst attending a wedding nearby and we couldn't fault it. After booking we were sent arrival information and arranged an early check in so we could get ready for the wedding. Arrival itself was very welcoming and they even offered us a lift into Otterburn which was definitely going above and beyond customer service! We loved the decor and our bed was so comfy, I didn't want to get out! Yes you can hear noise from other guests, but you get that in all hotels and something that certainly didn't bother us. Breakfast was lovely and service attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean and tidy hotel, very friendly staff. The food was copious and lovely. The surrounding buildings require attention but will improve in time. The owners sourced local food where possible and cook it to perfection. The bread was to die for as was the meal. We will certainly be back and like to thank the owners for a lovely stay

Lovely short break

Second time staying at the Coach house, first time they were not serving food due to new owners of the Coach House. Lovely quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Amazing French martinis, and cheaper than le petit chateau. Food was amazing and of professional standard. This is at family run B&B. Breakfast was also as good as the first time I visited. This place can only get better. Hope to visit again soon. Both Gemma and Paul have a professional manner with all guests and go above and beyond for those who expect more. { I’m sure you know what I mean } I don’t expect champagne standards on a lambrini budget.

Sunday Lunch at its best

We arrived just after 2pm Last Sunday and was greeted wonderfully. We decided to have a quick drink in the lounge area that looked over a lovely courtyard After glancing through the Menu we decided the Lamb and the Beef with Veg. My beef was great and my Partners Lamb was soft and succulent,I even decided to have a desert which was amazing too.. I will be telling all my friends and family as this was a great Sunday lunch in a lovely Setting..
