Northumberland Pubs

Pubs in Northumberland offer a hearty welcome, freshly brewed ale and fantastic locally produced food. We have some stunning inns in our towns and villages, rich in history and character, that are gathering points for local people.

In fact, we think of pubs in the Northumberland coast and countryside as unofficial tourist information centres where visitors can get direct and friendly advice as well as catching up on the local gossip.

You'll find pubs near Hadrian's Wall serving superb local ales and hearty food to help you re-energise after a walk along the wall.

Some of the traditional Northumberland pubs still offer great value 'inn' accommodation.

If you want to head to the sea for a pint, you'll be spoilt for choice for pubs on the Northumberland coast. There is a good selection of pubs in Alnmouth, as well as pubs serving local ales in almost every village from Berwick-upon-Tweed in the north to Blyth in the south. Some even serve delicious food that was caught from the beach that morning.

You'll also find some great pubs in our market towns, also serving up delicious locally produced food and offering top class accommodation.
