This is the third section of the 52 mile Roman Ring, which explores the area to the south of Hadrian’s Wall.

After meeting at Haydon Bridge there will be a short transfer to Haltwhistle for the start of the walk (included in the price) then the exploration along The Roman Ring will take place as you cross Hallpeat Moss and continue on passing t the south of Twice Brewed before reaching Vindolanda, the only area on Hadrian's Wall that continues to excavate.

Continuing along Haresby Lonnen you are treated to cup marked stones before dropping down to Haydon Bridge.

It will be a lovely walk exploring new areas.
