The Inn’s location, 8 miles NW of Alnwick, is handy for ramblers who can explore the nearby Cheviot Hills, for fisherman who might test their luck on the River Tweed and its many tributaries, and for tourists who may visit a host of attractions – Alnwick Castle and Gardens, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Chillingham Castle and its famous herd of wild cattle, and the World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall.
