Located on the wild & beautiful coast of North Northumberland, The Ship Inn, originally known as the Smack Inn was built in the late 1700’s. It stands in the corner of an open ended square of white-washed cottages set around a green and looks out to sea across the beautiful sandy beach of Newton Haven. Run by mother and daughter team Christine and Hannah, The Ship Inn is very proud of its growing reputation for serving good simple food, and for providing friendly welcoming service. We use local suppliers wherever possible, free range meat and fair trade products. We now have our very own micro brewery (the beer travels all of 15ft from brewery to cellar!) producing 20 well acclaimed beers, which are also available in bottles.

Lunch is served daily 12-2.30 Evening meals served between 7 and 8 booking essential! We do not take any type of credit or debit card, sorry Well behaved dogs on leads welcome!
