An Edwardian mansion in 1000 acres of Northumberland moorland and forest, now an elegant luxury hotel. A unique location, with fabulous interiors and a team of passionate staff to make your stay extra special. This is Slaley Hall.
For those with an appetite there is a choice of dining experiences on offer at De Vere Slaley Hall. Our food philosophy is simple: Legendary local ingredients, prepared to perfection. We believe the tastiest dishes come from the freshest ingredients. Hadrian’s Brasserie is the latest edition to dining at Slaley Hall or indulge in the mouth watering local menu at the Claret Jug – the best 19th hole around.
The food is classic British with a local, contemporary twist. The wine list is extensive. The drama and excitement are pure Slaley Hall. Executive Chef: Paul Patterson is passionate and demanding about finding the best local ingredients to use in his unforgettable dishes. Enjoy mouthwatering, must-try legends and great stories to take home with you.
The Claret Jug:
The Claret Jug looks out over the golf course and specialises in classic, well prepared meals, with legendary breakfasts. Golfers and guests enjoy the light meals and teas during the day. In the evening it transforms into a deluxe bistro, with a fabulous menu and well chosen wine list as well as a large selection of local and national ales.
Try our Golfer's favourites, such as Northumbrian smoked honey glazed ham stottie, piccallili and home cut chips, or come for dinner to site down to a sumptuous casserole of market vegetables with lentils and chickpeas and rosemary scones.
