The Barn at Beal offers a Birds of Prey Centre where you can take a walk on the wild side with over forty beautiful birds that include Snowy owls, a European Eagle Owl, a Great Horned Owl and a large collection of falcons and Hawks.
Also a totally new interactive visitor experience where you can learn all about life on a real working farm.
Located in a converted cart shed on 1000 acre arable farm, the centre is ideally placed for trippers making the pilgrimage to Lindisfarne. Visitors of all ages can discover about the history, wildlife and role farming continues to play in shaping the landscape of this unique part of the country.
Also meet the birds of prey and watch their flying display daily.
Outdoor trails, guided group walks and state-of-the-art technology including interactive white board, touch screen story boards and DVDs in the centre's education room show the positive contribution farming makes to the countryside.
The story of food from field to fork is told at the centre, which also has a coffee shop serving the best of local produce.
The centre will appeal to the business community as it offers first rate conference facilities.
